The Wishing Tree:
We have created something unique, new and different for your wedding day, "THE WISHING TREE"!
It is a large potted decorative tree with sporatic hanging flowers about 7ft tall and 4ft round. It can either be used as an alternative to your guest book, in addition to, or as a focal element. When you rent the tree we also provide a 24 in round covered table with a framed poem explaining the tree and what the guests are asked to do. They can either take a blank note already hanging on the tree or from the table and they write a wish for the bride and groom, something special between the guest and the couple, a tip or some advice, or a special or funny moment from the wedding day. Then they hang their written sentiment on the tree. The notes are then collected at the end of the night for the bride and groom to place in a scrap book. You will then have a collection of special thoughts and moments recorded from that night from your close friends and family. It is a nice sentimental keepsake to reflect on years to come or to place out on display at future anniversary parties. It is especially heart felt to relive your wedding day and find a sentiment written from a close family member or friend after they have passed on.
You can either place the notes in a scrap book on their own or beside a picture of the guest that wrote it from pictures of the evening.
